Marjan van Aubel is an award-winning solar designer whose work merges sustainability, technology, and beauty to redefine how we harness and interact with solar energy. Known for her innovative approach, she creates solar-powered objects and systems that integrate seamlessly into daily life, making renewable energy accessible and inspiring.
Pauline van Dongen is a pioneering solar fashion and textile designer who merges technology, sustainability, and craftsmanship to create innovative garments and textiles that harness solar energy. Her design studio, founded in 2010, is dedicated to collaborative, cross-disciplinary work, characterized by material explorations with an emphasis on embodied experience. In 2019, she was the first fashion designer in the Netherlands to obtain a PhD degree. With a background in both fashion design and material innovation, she is known for seamlessly integrating solar technology into wearable designs that are functional, aesthetic, and future-focused. Her latest project, SUNTEX, pushes the boundaries of solar design by integrating organic photovoltaic (OPV) modules into lightweight technical textiles for architectural applications.
Pallas Agterberg is a leader in strategic innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable development. She has been a driving force at Alliander since 2004, addressing the challenges of energy transition and innovation in the energy sector. Pallas serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board of OnePlanet Research Center, focusing on food, health, and digital innovation, and as Chair of the Supervisory Board of MVO Nederland, promoting corporate social responsibility.
